After jonesin' for sugar cream pie for almost 9 years I decided to take matters into my own hands. Above are the remnants of the sugar cream pie that I baked for Thanksgiving. Thanks to the marvels of the Internet and Paula Deen's fabulous recipe on The Food Network's website: http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,1977,FOOD_9936_27764,00.html I finally had a taste of Indiana right here in my kitchen.
Now if Dave Letterman stops by unannounced I can whip up a sugar cream pie that would make even Bobby Knight teary-eyed.
