OK, so here is GM with a proven European winner, introducing here in the States. Mind you, no plastic doors but that's probably a good thing.
Funny, but I thought that MKF (that's Mark Fields in the new Lincoln nomenclature) said that bringing over European vehicles to the US just didn't work? Isn't that why the US is getting the Focus ION instead of the EuroFocus?
Why doesn't the Blue Oval do something similar with the Focus? What about the Mondero (see other posts)? Hell, even the Fiesta is made as far away as Mexico. Ford don't roll with the B Cars cuz they don't have anything developed, except for one of the best selling B Cars in the world, the Fiesta.
By time they enter the US market, the other B Cars will have solid followings and Ford will have a Three Bar Grill -- cuz that sells cars, right?
