So we are considering looking for a new car. I have been driving one Saturn or another for eight years. Enough is enough. Looking at used cars, I am surprised to see how inexpensive SUVs are - Fords and GMs have both failed to retain a good resale value. That's too bad for the dude that paid 40k for a new Eddie Bauer edition Expedition in 2002, but good news for me.
However, with all of these options -- like the CUV (which btw when I was kid, we called a Station Wagon) and the like, maybe I should widen the search horizon? Hell, maybe even a motorcycle like this guy. He seems happy, if not drunk.

I'd say he's more drunk than happy.
I think you should buy a Toyota. I hear they have a very low recall rate, something like 1.2 million within the past year. I don't know the exact number, but it's miniscule.
